After exploring most of the inland Belize starting from the Taco streets of the North to hiking the peculiar Caves in the West, making my way through the dense forests hosting beautiful waterfalls hidden in the East and meeting some generous Mayan people from remote villages in the South, it was time to relax and go slow in Caye Caulker. Needless to say, Belize is popularly known for its Cayes. Caye Caulker being one of them, is not as serried as the others, not completely inundated by tourism, brimming with cozy corners all to yourself not to forget with a jaw-dropping view of the ocean and the moonlight. After relaxing here for almost three days, before getting back to the States and to the grind, I felt completely rejuvenated, awe-inspired and fallen for its’ charm and naturalness.
